Ms. Benini’s lengthy career in emergency management has taken her from the State of California to a cabinet agency in the US national government and onto the White House following the attacks of 9/11. She then segued to international organizations covering both Asia and Europe.
She is an advisor to NATO, where she was one of the leaders in developing NATO’s resilience standards for member nations. In addition, for 15 years she was an adjunct professor of Leadership During Crisis for both George Washington and Georgetown Universities.

Mr. Seyle is the Chief Operating Officer for PAX Sapiens, a foundation focusing on catastrophic risk reduction.
He is a political psychologist whose research focuses on evidence-based practice in peacebuilding and social impact.
Director of Policy at the Future of Life Institute
Mr. Brakel is the Global Director of Policy & Partnerships at the Future of Life Institute (FLI), the world’s oldest and largest advocacy organisation in artificial intelligence. His previous roles include time working in the Dutch diplomatic service.
He sits on the European Steering Committee for the Partnership on AI. He has addressed the European Parliament and the United Nations in Geneva, and advises governments around the world on how to navigate the development of increasingly advanced AI.
