Governments could incentive the creation of entirely new measures in areas that are currently hard to evaluate. Robotics is a good example. Progress in combining contemporary AI methods with robotics could bring many benefits, such as reducing costs in industrial manufacturing, increasing the capabilities of drone platforms and creating new capabilities for responding to natural disasters.
