Global Shield is hiring a Director of Global Shield Germany. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced policy advocate to lead our new presence in Berlin and advance our mission to reduce global catastrophic risk.
The primary focus of the role will be to lead advocacy with German federal policymakers, from Bundestag committees to key ministries, building Global Shield into a trusted voice on catastrophic risk reduction in Germany.
The Director will be Global Shield’s lead advocate in the country, engaging policymakers at the intersection of defence, security and global risk reduction. This is a unique opportunity to shape how Germany’s EU and NATO commitments are matched by practical, forward-looking action.
As we grow, we intend to conduct future hiring rounds. For country offices, we are looking for potential talent to lead our advocacy in promising locations. We also have opportunities for volunteers, depending on the right fit and the needs of the organization.
